Once the body is ready, I give it a coat of Tamiya white primer to make the surfaces smooth, and sand gently with fine grit sandpaper to remove any defects that remain on surfaces and apply a coat of black primer Alclad 2 (ALC 305) before applying the silver reference Zero Paints ZP-1116 Audi R8-R10 TDi Silver Le Mans.
Regarding Zero Paints paint is awesome, covers very well even pulling very thin layers with the airbrush at an average pressure and once dry is very smooth and hard. No grain can be seen with the naked eye, which is appreciated in these metallic for scale reproductions.
